FlexCity Mülheim officially opens

The opening of FlexCity Mülheim marks the beginning of what the development will enable: new operations, stronger customer partnerships and long-term business growth in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region. Set within a 19.5 Ha business park, FlexCity Mülheim adds over 23,000 sqm of modern industrial and logistics space with the flexibility and connectivity to support businesses as their operational requirements evolve. Alexander Heubes, Remco de Smit and Wilhelm Heusch welcomed guests and spoke about FlexCity Mülheim’s importance to the region and our long-term commitment to Germany.
 

Together with project partners, local stakeholders and representatives from the City of Mülheim, Axel Booß and Felix Blasch officially opened the development with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, recognising the collaboration behind the site’s transformation into a modern industrial and logistics hub. 
 

For JW Fulfilment, the opening signals the start of operations from its new 15,700 sqm facility. The space will support the company’s European expansion, increase its fulfilment capacity and accommodate a broader range of customer and product requirements. 
 

We also welcomed JW Fulfilment and presented Managing Director Ning Dong with a silk tree. Symbolising growth, resilience and strong roots, the tree reflects both the beginning of JW Fulfilment’s journey at FlexCity Mülheim and the long-term partnership we look forward to building together.
