The Tube's aim to Shift-Zer0

18 July 2023

We’ve come a long way in deconstructing the historic site of The Tube development in Düsseldorf, Germany, making us one step closer to marking a landmark milestone in sustainability.

In this video you will hear from Thorsten Bleyer from the Germany Sustainable Building Council (DNGB) describe our aim to be the first-ever gold certification for climate friendly and transparent demolition of an industrial site.

Bernd Zaum explains what it took to demolish this 14 Ha site. Hear how we’ve recycled approximately 70,000 tonnes of building materials on-site, saving up to 7,000 truck movements, with the expert oversight from our partners Prangenberg & Zaum Immobilien GmbH.

Frasers Property Industrial is proud of the innovation being implemented across the portfolio as we find new ways to Shift-Zer0. We are excited to share further updates as significant development continues.
