Penguin Random House progressed at Rubix Connect

22 August 2024

The progress of Penguin Random House Australia & New Zealand's facility at Rubix Connect in Melbourne’s south east is powering ahead.

With 38,225 GLA currently under construction by FDC Construction & Fitout, we’ve recently marked some key milestones:

  • The structural steel for the warehouse, including the office, is now complete.
  • Roofing and wall cladding for the warehouse are nearing completion.
  • Concrete slabs and roofing for the main office are finalised.
  • The internal fibre slab is on track.
  • Installation of loading dock levellers is proceeding as scheduled.

Looking ahead, the rough-in and curtain wall façade work is ready to begin, and external work preparation for hardstand areas and carparks has commenced.

Penguin Random House’s facility in Dandenong South is purpose-designed incorporating state-of-the-art technology, including class leading ‘goods to person’ automation. We look forward to sharing more progress updates along the way.
