FareShare volunteering, QLD

26 September 2023

Last week our Queensland team spent a day volunteering at FareShare Charity Kitchen. FareShare is Australia’s largest non for profit kitchens and its mission is to cook nutritious and free meals from rescued, donated and homegrown ingredients to improve the lives of Australians in hardship.

FareShare rescues 10 tonnes of surplus food from hospitality businesses each week and cook the ingredients into up to 25,000 meals that are distributed to frontline charities throughout Queensland and northern NSW. To help with their mission our team packed 4,162 prepared meals for distribution to Australian families.

We’re so pleased to be able to help organisations like FareShare via our volunteer program.
