Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (HHTS) Foundation has recently announced the launch of its free National Health and Wellbeing Roadmap.
The strategy has been designed specifically for the road transport, warehousing, and logistics industries, with funding by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator's Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative.
Supported by the Federal Government, the Roadmap has been designed by industry and for industry, offering a unified plan to improve mental health and wellbeing right across the sector to ensure it is treated as importantly as physical wellbeing.
The challenges of those working in the transport, freight and logistics industries require a unique approach to ensure we're supporting workers throughout our supply chains to live happier, healthier lives.
Chairman of the foundation Paul Graham said, "In launching the Roadmap, we're acknowledging we need a shared starting point to improve the collective mental health and wellbeing of our industry. This Roadmap sets out the plan for us all to rally behind and supports us in knowing where to go next."
Frasers Property Industrial CEO, Reini Otter said, "The challenges of those working in transport, freight and logistics industries require a unique approach to ensure we're supporting workers throughout our supply chains to live happier, healthier lives. Congratulations to the Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds team on the development of this industry first National Mental Health and Wellbeing Roadmap".
We’re proud to partner with Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds on these important initiatives that protect workers across the sector.
The Roadmap is available now and free to download from the HHTS website.
