Toshiba Australia new facility launch

Toshiba Australia has officially opened its new, 5,220 sqm facility at The YARDS estate in Kemps Creek, Western Sydney. 

Developed alongside our joint venture partner Aware Real Estate, the facility has been designed to support Toshiba Australia’s long-term operational requirements and growth. The new space primarily consists of distribution and logistics, with a small component dedicated to the repair and refurbishment of small office equipment, such as printers. 

The facility, which was delivered ahead of schedule, was built by CIP Constructions. The high-quality asset includes a 5,220 sqm warehouse, a 457 sqm modern office, two recessed loading docks, and four flush loading docks. Aligning with the project partners' deep commitment to sustainable infrastructure, the facility is topped with a 65kW rooftop solar system. This system directly contributes to the building's target of achieving a 6 Star Green Star Design and As-Built rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. 

The official opening was marked by a commemorative event on-site at the new facility. Attended by Anthony O'Neill , General Manager – Development  at Frasers Property Industrial, Stephen O Connor, Project Director at Barings Real Estate Australia, and key representatives from Toshiba Australia: Chief Financial Officer Abishek Singla, and Property & Project Manager Ahmad Malas.
