- Frasers Property Industrial has fully leased the 76,900 sqm in "The Tube" industrial and commercial park
- New leases incude Solago GmbH and Geekplus Europe GmbH
Frasers Property Industrial announces "The Tube" in Düsseldorf-Reisholz is now 100% leased. Latest leases include Solago GmbH, Geekplus Europe GmbH and the expansion of Upway GmbH's space in the 76,900 sqm site. Woltu and Pharmaserv previously secured long-term leases.
"We are proud that The Tube has attracted so much interest. This success reflects the growing market demand for high-quality warehouse and sustainable industrial space in prime locations," says Alexander Heubes, Managing Director Europe, Frasers Property Industrial.
Solago, an online retailer of balcony power plants, has leased approximately 18,000 sqm of warehouse space. "Sustainability and accessibility were decisive factors for us. Many of our employees come from the region and ride company bicycles to work. The new location significantly strengthens our logistical capacities," explains Janik Nolden, one of the three founders of Solago.
Geekplus Europe, a global leader in warehouse robotics, has also chosen "The Tube": the company is leasing around 2,115 sqm of hall space and 451 sqm in the former presentation building. "We develop autonomous mobile robot solutions that make logistics processes smarter and more efficient – for this, we need premises that reflect our innovative strength. With 'The Tube', we have not only found a state-of-the-art location, but also an environment that perfectly combines technology, sustainability and accessibility," says Hong Yu, CMO and Head of ENEA at Geekplus.
Upway, an e-commerce platform for refurbished e-bikes and existing tenants, has expanded its space by a further 5,409 sqm and now has a total of around 10,000 sqm.
They join previous customers such as Woltu (37,400 sqm ) and Pharmaserv (9,895 sqm), which focus on temperature-controlled logistics. The Tube's sustainability features include a large 6.7 MWp photovoltaic system on the roof, an intelligent heating solution with advanced heat pump technology, and a smart metering system that allows tenants to continuously monitor and optimise their energy consumption.
The brownfield redevelopment won silver at the "Brownfield Awards 2025" and was also awarded DGNB Gold status for its resource-efficient demolition.
The Tube is strategically located in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region with a catchment area of over 11 million inhabitants and benefits from connections to seven motorways, several inland ports and an international airport, all of which can be reached within 15 minutes. Its proximity to important European logistics centres such as the Netherlands, Belgium and the ARA ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam strengthens its role as a central distribution hub in Europe.
