6 star rating, Rhodes HQ Office, NSW - NABERS indoor environment

May 2020

Frasers Property Industrial have been measuring the indoor air quality of all their commercial offices.

A good indoor environment can foster productivity and wellbeing, and even influence the health of occupants in the building. Considering a 1% improvement in staff productivity in an office building is equivalent to the whole energy cost of a building - $2 billion annually in Australia – air quality delivers value to our customers (Property Council Australia, 2009). Happy and productive tenants are more likely to stay.

The NABERS Indoor Environment rating is the Australian standard and measures the air pollution, temperature and thermal comfort as well as acoustic quality of a building. This year, the Frasers Rhodes office - Building D, received the highest available rating of 6 stars. There are only 11 current NABERS Indoor Environment 6 star rated buildings in Australia with Rhodes Building D being the only one in NSW.
