Beaulieu Carpets facility - 5 star certificiation, GBCA

July 2019

Frasers Property Industrial's Beaulieu Carpets facility in Queensland - Australia, has been certified with a 5 Star As Built rating by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).

The facility, located in Berrinba - QLD, features 100kW of solar, LED lighting throughout the warehouse and office space, as well as an efficient VRF air conditioning system to deliver a 59% improvement in peak electricity demand.

In terms of water savings, a 90kL rainwater tank and efficient fixtures and fittings have created a 78% reduction in potable water consumption compared to a standard practice building.

It is also worthy to note that this is Frasers Property Industrial's 27th Green Star As Built certification in C&I, since our first - Ceva Logistics, in September 2017. This is a testiment to how Frasers delivers on their promise of creating high quality, resilient and sustainable assets.
