The Anchor: Certified BREEAM-NL New Construction 'Excellent'

Our distribution centre at The Anchor in Lelystad, the Netherlands, has achieved a BREEAM-NL New Construction ‘Excellent’ rating.

Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) is a leading international sustainability assessment method that evaluates buildings across key environmental categories, including energy, water, materials, waste and ecology.

An ‘Excellent’ rating places The Anchor among the higher-performing buildings assessed under the framework, reflecting strong environmental performance and best-practice design.

This achievement is supported by a range of sustainable features, including:

• On-site solar energy
• Lower-carbon structural materials
• Construction waste recycling
• Ventilation and climate systems for indoor environmental quality
• Nature-inclusive design, including a green roof terrace

The Anchor was delivered in partnership with Adamasgroep, Goldbeck Nederland and Denned Installatietechniek.
